BPP/Commercial Appraiser

Shelby County Appraisal District has an opening for a BPP/Commercial Appraiser.
​
This is an entry-level position requiring graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent. Position responsibilities include discovery, inspection and appraisal of BPP/Commercial properties; data collection and analysis; work with property owners; defend values.
Position requirements include an RPA designation (preferred) or willingness to obtain within five years upon hire; ability to perform complex math calculations; strong communication, computer & analytical skills; reliable transportation with proof of liability insurance; valid Texas driver’s license; ability to work efficiently both independently and with others.

Salary is contingent upon experience.
